Members of the Rosebud Mining Co. mine rescue team completed a disaster scenario during the 32nd Annual Ohio Valley Mine Rescue Contest on June 4-6. Thirty-four teams from Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky and Alabama participated in the event at the Jerry L. Stewart Mine Safety Training Center in Cadiz and were tested on equipment, first aid, field and pre-shift skills.

The National Mine Rescue Association Tri-State Post No. 6 sponsored the event and a state contest is scheduled at the facility on June 19.
