CADIZ – Scott Memorial United Methodist Church is on the move with the upcoming Cadiz Community Vacation Bible School.
The free event, which follows the theme “Gotta Move! Keepin’ in Step with the Spirit,” will be held at the church on June 24-27. It runs from 6-8:45 p.m. and is open to potty-trained three-year-olds to kids who have just completed sixth grade. Katie Bertolino, who instructs kids ages 3-5, said it involves a multitude of local churches and plenty of praiseworthy activities.
“It’s a collaboration between Scott, Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church, St. James AME, First Church of Christ, Cadiz Nazarene Church and St. Theresa’s Catholic Church,” she said, noting that the VBS is headed by Amy Ossman. “Everyone is invited and it is free for all of the children. We want to make them aware that if they attend another VBS, we’d appreciate that they attend ours as well.”
