Christian obitMilton F. Christian, 88, of Cadiz, died Monday, December 23, 2013 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale. He was born July 24, 1925 in Hopedale, Ohio, a son of the late Harry M. and Pearl I. Smith Christian.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Williams Christian this past January;  a son, Milton, Jr.; a daughter, Patricia; and a sister, Maxine Miller.

Friends may call Saturday, 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Church, 301 E. Market St., Cadiz. Rev. Craig Smith will officiate. Military honors will be performed by the Cadiz American Legion at 1:45 p.m. at the church.

  1. I was sorry to hear about milt. I’ve known him for a long time and I worked with him when he worked at the police dept.he was a good man and served Cadiz community and was well known to everyone and a person you could depend on. My condolences to his family.

  2. Sorry to hear about Milt. I remember him well from when I lived and worked as 4-H Agent in Harrison County. He was a great servant to God.

  4. My great, great Uncle Milt! My baby sister was born on the same day as him and my nana in 2004. EVeryone tells me there’s gonna be a movie made about him one day, of all the things he’s done!
