Raymond “RV” Eckley
Raymond “RV” Eckley, New Rumley, died July 17, 2010 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 20, 1957 in Steubenville, a son of the late Raymond and Helen (Davenport) Eckley. In addition to his parents he was precede in death by his son Brandon P. Eckley and a brother Mark Eckley.
Services were held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Bethel Methodist Church with the Rev. Rodney Bowers officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Gardens, Jewett. A full obituary will appear in the next edition of the Harrison News-Herald.

Kathy and Kelsey I'm sorry to here about the loss of Ray. He was a very nice guy and I have a lot of memories of him while growing up in Rumley. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. U have my deepest sympathy.

Kathy sorry to hear about the passing of ray. I remember all the good time's renay and I had with him up in rumley. He will be missed, my thought's and prayer's are with you.

So sorry about Ray's passing. He continued to soldier on long after a lesser person may have given up. You will miss him being here with you on earth, but he will await your arrival in heaven with Brandon by his side.

I am sorry to hear about Ray. I have alot of memories of him coaching Brandon and Todd during baseball. He was always alot of fun to be around. He will be greatly missed.
