Mabel Jeanne West Stewart

 

Mabel Jeanne West Stewart, 78, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 23, 1932 to the late Clarence Albert and Elizabeth Wood Ramsey West, Sr. in Cadiz and had lived in Mansfield the past 24 years.

In addition to her parents Jeanne was also preceded in death by five sisters: Etna Lucas, Lydia Mallory, Helen, Mary Francis, and Phoebe, and three brothers: Charles H., James N. and Clarence A. West, Jr.

Friends may call Saturday after 12 noon in the Ruth Anna Lee Williams Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Services where the family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the St. James AME Church in Cadiz with the Rev. Charles Simpson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services. Interment will be in the Cadiz Union Cemetery.

    I will miss very dearly Aunt Jeanne @ family reunion
    and the "crosses, dolls, and always ending each time with "bless you". It will not be the same, without you .Thank you "auntie" for those wonderful memories.I love you and thank you so much for your acceptance of me.     Your presence will be greatly missed, reunoins won't be the same. I will cherish all the good times we shared and continue to hang all the handmade what-knots on my CHRISTMAS tree. Love your Great-niece BRIDGETTE
