District 11 plans $130M in summer projects

About $114 million is being spent on District 11 upgrades alone, with more than $4.35 million worth of improvements scheduled in Harrison County.

An estimated $1,355,400 paving project will take place along Ohio 9 and Ohio 250 from the northern corporation limits of New Athens through Cadiz to the U.S. 22/Ohio 250 interchange at Wendy’s. The time frame for the work is May 1 to Sept. 30 and traffic delays are anticipated.

Another update on U.S. 22 runs 3 1/2 miles west of Cadiz and 2 1/2 miles east of the village and costs $1,916,299. Work is expected to occur from May 1 to July 31.
