NEW RUMLEY – Teens from across the county can warble in worship with a new group formed at New Rumley United Methodist Church.

A new teen “Born to Worship Praise Team” was founded last December and includes kids ages 11 and older. Six regular young singers have been performing at local venues, including area churches and the Harrison County Home. Susan Blanke, organizer of the Rethink program and praise team, said it has been a positive experience both for the children and their audiences.

Members of the group include, front from left, Cierra Frye, Alivia Frye, Alex Chrisman and Alicia Moore. Back: Cory Chrisman and Drew Chrisman. For more information about the praise team or for youth to join, contact director Susan Blanke at 740-945-1761, assistant director Barb Majewski at 740-945-8113 or leader Bertie Garvey at 740-945-1760. You can find out more about the group and other church activities on the church pages in this weeks print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
