Endy, a 15-month-old German Shepherd, is the latest officer to don a badge at the Cadiz Police Department thanks to a grant from the Cadiz Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2162. Endy is shown being sworn in by village Mayor Ken Zitko in May with handler Officer Ron Carter.

Also, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is getting some help to spread its message with a $1,000 People for People Fund grant from the Carroll Electric Cooperative and Jewett council members approved the purchase of a new cruiser at their meetingĀ  on June 1. 1. I would like to clear up some misconceptions on Endy. I imported him from Hungary, not Germany. Also all of his training was done at Ohio Valley K9 LLC. He was not trained or imported from Germany as the article stated. Officer Carter was here even on his days off to train with Endy to complete all of the training needed to certify as a K9 Team.
Endy has already started cleaning up the streets of Cadiz. He will be an asset to Cadiz Police Department and the citizens of Cadiz.
We are a OPOTA certified training facility for K9’s and their handlers. We have trained numerous K9’s and their handlers for the surrounding area, across the United States, and other countries.
