Marjorie A. Brown

 

Marjorie A. Brown, 81, of Wellsville, died July 21 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., following complications from surgery.

She was born in New Rumley on March 3, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Dwight and Hazel (Harmon) Cunningham. Her husband, Robert Brown, died in May 2008. They were married June 13, 1953.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Elizabeth (Boone) Cunningham.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, at 10 a.m. at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 49319 W. Main St., Harrisville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Action Agency, Senior Nutrition, 7880 Lincole Place, Lisbon, Ohio, 44432; Bethel Presbyterian Church, 16669 Steubenville Pike Road, Salineville, Ohio 43945; or the First Presbyterian Church, 247 NE First St., Williston, Fla., 32696.

    Marjorie will be missed for her quiet dignity.
    I am sorry that I lost track in later years.
