Anthony Natoli


Anthony Natoli, 91, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011 at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia, following a lengthy illness. Born Dec. 10, 1920 in Dennison, he was a son of the late James and Mary (Casmo) Natoli.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Rosie Fanti, Jenny Stanco, Mary Trolio, and Marcia Schroll; and brother, Pete Natoli.

Services officiated by Rev. Michael Foran, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow with a military committal service in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. Those wishing to honor his memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the American Red Cross.

  1. To the Natoli family, I am very sorry to hear of Tony’s passing. He had a huge influence on many of his students, including myself. He was one teacher that demanded absolute attention and received it from his class without having to state it in any words. I had been initially afraid of him when I started classes at CV, based upon other students’ giving me a heads up about his expectations of the classes he taught, which seems funny now. He was always available to lend an ear or give words of wisdom to his students, long after they were no longer students of his. My thoughts are with your family.
