Local counties part of $2.3Billion Utica Shale venture

 

Ten Eastern Ohio counties, including Harrison, are part of an estimated $2.32 billion joint venture involving the development of the Utica Shale. The areas, which are highlighted in orange, are part of 619,000 net acres which were acquired by Total E&P USA Inc. and covers all or a portion of Carroll, Harrison, Jefferson, Belmont, Monroe, Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Noble and Washington.
