CADIZ – Matt Shurina, Harrison Central’s 220-pound senior wrestler, has wrestled his way to his second consecutive State Wrestling Tournament.

The bid for Shurina would come during wrestling action during the Division II Tournament at Claymont High School this past Saturday. Shurina would place third while defeating Yearling’s Alex Farrow by an 8-4 score during the consolation finals.

Just a year ago following the same tournament, Shurina would place fifth and earn the distinction of being the only local wrestler to advance to the Columbus trip.
