Michael Stuart Liles

Michael Stuart Liles, Col. US Army (ret) passed away March 30, 2012 at Heritage Hospice in Marietta, Ga. He was born in Chagrin Falls, Ohio on December 9, 1931 to Lester Edward Liles and Lillian New Liles. He graduated from Cadiz (Ohio) High School in 1951.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Genevieve Liles Bowen, a brother, William T. Liles and a brother, James New Liles. A daughter, Leslie Liles Pierce, died in 2005.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 6 at SouthCare Cremation and Memorial Center, 595 Franklin Road, Marietta, Ga. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., the service at 11 a.m. and a reception will follow at the center. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd., Suite 280, Kennesaw GA 30144. Arrangements by SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers in Marietta 770-420-5557.
