Recorder extends hours to serve energy firms

 

Harrison County Recorder Tracy Boyer, center, said her office has been making upgrades to accommodate the influx of researchers for oil and gas companies. Chesapeake Energy has contributed money that will help digitize land records, add temporary staff, extend office hours and add more security to get the work done. Boyer said two other companies have also contacted her for similar assistance.
