To the family that Margaret leaves behind, I will always think of your mom as one of the kindest, most giving women I have ever known. She was truly special. May God comfort you at this time.

When we heard of the death of Margaret Gray, we were saddened. We so much enjoyed knowing Margaret and Wayne while we lived in Scio from 1993-2000. I was the pastor there at Scio UMC, and Margaret along with her husband were very involved. She was the editor and producer of the church paper, the “Forerunner”, and loaded each issue with news, art, and her own unique flavor of down home friendliness. Margaret’s annual family newsletters were just the same, full of interesting and humorous anecdotes. After reading you felt like you had just been sitting in her living room. Margaret was missions minded and regularly promoted giving to some good cause. She attended district meetings and she and her husband Wayne also served as church representatives at annual conference. Our heart goes out to Wayne and the whole family! "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the GOD OF ALL COMFORT; who comforts us all in all our affliction ..." IICorinthians 1:3,4

We were so sorry to hear of Margaret’s death. We so much enjoyed knowing Margaret and Wayne while we lived in Scio for seven years. I was her pastor at Scio UMC, and Margaret and her husband were very involved. Among other things, she was the editor and producer of the “Forerunner” loading each issue with news, art, and her own homespun flavor of down home friendliness. Margaret’s annual family newsletters were just the same, full of interesting and humorous anecdotes. After reading you felt like you had just been sitting in her living room. Our heart goes out to Wayne and the whole family! IICorinthians 1:3,4 May you find our God “the God of all comfort” meeting your needs in these days.
