Quick actions save friend’s life
FREEPORT – Rich Rensi, left, is thankful after friend Melvin Allen saved his life during a serious heart attack on July 11. Allen, a 46-year member of the Freeport Volunteer Fire Department and E-Squad, performed CPR until emergency crews arrived.
Rensi, a former Harrison County Sheriff, underwent a triple bypass and beat the odds since only 3 percent of suffers survive such massive attacks.
Details of this amazing story are featured in this weeks print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
