Hopedale VFD officials: Charges based on ‘vendetta’

Hopedale fire officials are relieved that charges have been dismissed in their insurance fraud case but say a personal vendetta within the department led to the investigation. Those individuals have been disciplined internally and now the department is trying to rebuild its finances and re-establish trust within the community.
