Joe Knows Energy held an open house and food collection recently at its satellite office on East Market Street in Cadiz. Local officials and community members were invited to meet company leaders and bring non-perishable items for the Cadiz Food Pantry.
The Columbus-based firm established a satellite office to provide infrastructure and site solutions to oil and gas production companies. It is currently working with MarkWest Energy Partners LLC on design and site construction for a new processing facility at the Cadiz/Harrison County Industrial Park, the first such plant in Eastern Ohio. Joe Knows Energy’s services range from project management and logistics for infrastructure to engineering, paving and applied technologies, to name a few.
Officials said the open house/collection was a two-fold means to get acquainted with the area and attendants were encouraged to bring cans and boxes of non-perishable items to feed the hungry. At the conclusion, more than 100 items plus cash were collected.
