CADIZ – Scott UMC Associate Pastor/Youth Director Mark Smith will be heard throughout America next week, as he shares his story of how he followed his calling to become a full-time Pastor with KLOVE Radio. The station based out of Rockland, Calif., e-mailed Smith last week after reading about him in the News-Herald’s September church pages.

“It’s exciting, it kind of puts Harrison County on the map,” Smith shared. “I just hope it can impact someone’s life.”

The station conducted a 30-minute interview with Smith that will air throughout the day on Tuesday, October 23. Locally, KLOVE can be found at 88.7 and 98.3 on the dial. Smith has been a full-time pastor for the past three years in the area.

Other church updates and activities are featured in this weeks print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
