In 1956 I worked for Mr. Nowjack on the Hanna Coal
Farm , he was without a doubt one of many people
that I owe a great deal of gratitude. He was a hard worker and a hard man to please,he taught me to
be responsible. He did not have much of a sense
of humor, but often he laughed at my efforts.
I will always remember him with love.

My father, also a Hanna employee, now deceased, had the highest regard for Mr.Nowjack . I remember conversations about him which put him in a class of individuals of integrity, principled behavior and compassion. That generation of men is leaving us with lives we can only hope to replicate! Charlotte Brokaw Thomas. St Clairsville Ohio

Mr. Nowjack was greatly a true gentleman and wonderful person. I am honored to have gotten to know him through our many conversations at St. Mark Lutheran Church. He was very intelligent of the Bible and had a great passion for the art of music. He will be greatly missed. I am sorry for your loss a truly wish we had known of his passing. We would have been there. John and Brenda Starinsky
